What We Do

My Future: My Life

My Future: My Life is a ground-breaking initiative which encourages and supports Queensland secondary students with a disability to prepare and plan for their life after school.

We do this by offering a range of support options for students, their parents and carers, educators and disability professionals; these options include:

Workshops

To support parents, educators and disability professionals to build their knowledge and capacity to assist students to identify, capture, plan for and pursue their goals for life after school. My Future: My Life will deliver a series of workshops across the State.

Transition Preparation Support

To assist students (and parents) to identify their strengths, interests and capacities and to use these to guide their planning for life after school. Transition preparation support will be offered in conjunction with workshops throughout the State.

Students will gain maximum benefit when parents attend a workshop prior to receiving transition preparation support.
